I went into this Acura and worked with Linda, Shabazz and Samantha to complete my purchase of the 2026 Acura Integra A-Spec. Linda went above and beyond with responding to my request quickly. I put in a request to see the vehicle at 9 pm and she responded immediately and provided me her work phone for text communication. She convinced me to come through the door the next day at 12 pm and the team of Linda, Shabazz (Financial Manager) and Samantha (Manager) were professional and transparent through this car purchasing process. With my test drive experience, I got to test drive two of these models and I was taken on the side road and highway to get a real feel for what my experience would be like. Even though I live in Arlington I go out of my way to use Pohanka whenever my car is do for routine maintenance. I was very impressed with my salesman Daniel Boyd. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I sent an e-mail ti Daniel on Saturday night at 10:00 P.M. Thinking he would respond on Sunday, five minutes later Daniel responded. He his a true asset to Pohanka Acura.

I recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Pohanka Acura. Overall, the experience was okay—it met expectations, but nothing stood out. The salesperson and manager were friendly and helpful throughout the process. However, the final step during financing felt different. The individual handling the paperwork was very short and not particularly welcoming, and the interaction felt more transactional than customer-focused. There was also no closing courtesy—no congratulations or a thank you as we were leaving, not even a handshake—which left a negative final impression. For a luxury brand, a higher level of service and attention to detail is expected. This didn’t quite reflect that standard, especially during the final interaction. Overall, I’d rate this a 3 out of 5. The service was sufficient, but not memorable. With more consistency—especially at the end—it could be a much better experience.

Update: 4/6/2026-Left a message 3 days ago and called today to the manager Steve, but have yet to get a response or reply. Hope he will be able to see you tomorrow when I come in person. 4/3/2026-I left my car at the dealership for 8 hours and had one of the worst service experiences I’ve dealt with. The only acceptable work was the rim repair—which wasn’t even performed by an Acura technician. It’s clear the service department is not properly aligned with the products being sold by the sales and finance teams. I’m now 2 out of 4 years into paying for the EG Assurance package, and trying to use it has been extremely frustrating. Every department points fingers at each other instead of taking responsibility. On top of that, when I called to address these concerns, Assistant Service Manager Soo Ah Son hung up on me mid-conversation. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. The process to get any claim handled has been more difficult than dealing with health insurance—far more time and effort than it should reasonably require. At this point, I feel completely misled about the value and support behind what I purchased. Fortunately, there are consumer protection provisions in Virginia that I will be exploring if this is not resolved.
