My flight landed from my vacation at IAD and I returned to a low tire pressure light. Decided to look for Acura service providers nearby since I was off for the day. Within seconds of arriving, Steve K greeted me and immediately asked what was needed for service. He reassured me it was going to be taken care of and I was in & out in about an hour with their express service! Their team work and customer service was outstanding! Steve sat with me and explained the services completed! You can tell they take customer service and customer experience seriously, the other customers waiting were having great conversations with all the staff there. I felt well taken care of!

I truly want to recommend this place for their friendly and fast service. We brought in both of our vehicles yesterday with same-day appointments, and we were impressed by their kindness and efficiency. They even gave the cars a wash — everything was just perfect!


I do not recommend them. I purchased my RDX in 2020 and it has less than 11k miles on it. Apparently, it is common for the moonroof to have issues. Last month, water leaked in my car due to a faulty seal. This is NOT OKAY. My family has had an MDX and other models for over 10 years and it has never had this problem. Acura isn’t going to cover it because the warranty is 4 years or 50k miles so I have to use my insurance. Unfortunately, they won’t cover the leak itself but the damages from the leak (the amp was fried and the water stains)! My insurance said they would cover the detailing as there is a water stain where the leak was. I tried to get my car back yesterday after they said the detailing is complete and not only is the stain still there but there are even more marks from the mechanics. I take care of my car very well so I’m honestly pissed that the car is worse than when I came in (on MAY 10th). If you guys can’t detail properly, I can ask my insurance if I can take it to another shop that can get the job done. It’s now 6/8 and it’s still at Acura Service (one month later). I added a star because one of the managers is already helping me fix this situation. I will update when I pick up my car. I’ve always loved Acura but this experience was terrible and expensive. No one buys a car and thinks it will have water damage from a simple rain storm. At the very least, they should let their customers know this is a potential problem so we can have it checked when we come in for service.

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Pohanka Acura while trying to purchase a 2025 MDX. We worked with Marcus, and everything initially seemed smooth. We live out of state and were arranging our own financing, which was communicated from the start. When we were ready to move forward and put down a deposit, Marcus suddenly told us they don’t take deposits. Then came the kicker — the sales manager insisted we finance through them if we wanted the vehicle held. In other words, unless we let them run our credit and go through their financing (which would have meant another hard inquiry and possibly worse terms), they wouldn’t hold the car. This is a terrible way to treat serious, ready-to-buy customers, especially those buying from out of state. Their approach to customer service is crystal clear: first come, first serve, in person — no flexibility, no professionalism, and zero care for the buyer experience. It felt like a bait-and-switch, designed to strong-arm us into their financing for their own benefit. I will never purchase a vehicle from Pohanka Acura, and I strongly urge others — especially out-of-state or pre-financed buyers — to look elsewhere. If this is how they treat customers before the sale, I can’t imagine what after-sale support would look like.
